Provenance: The Oppe' Collection, (purchased by Paul Oppe' 25 April 1921) Exhibited: London ,Burlington Fine Arts Club, 1922 Professor Tancred Borenius ,(1885-1948) Finnish art historian, appointed in 1914 lecturer and in 1922 Professor of Art history at University College London, considered that this drawing was undoubtedly by Il Veronese. Among his many publications are "The painters of Vicenza",1909 and Rembrandt,selected paintings,1942
