TOULOUSE-LAUTREC

1864-1901

This set of lithographs was originally published in 1896 in Paris and exhibited at the Salon de la Plume.

The title of the series, Elles evoke not only women in general but more particularly, women in their most intimate aspect, to make the series Henri Toulouse-Lautrec lived in a brothel in the Rue de la Moulins.
